By using BuyWatch™, you agree to these Terms.
About BuyWatch™
BuyWatch helps users track product prices, view price history, and compare product pricing across supported retailers.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for any activity under your account.
Product and price information
BuyWatch attempts to provide useful price tracking information, but product prices, availability, discounts, shipping costs, retailer details, and product information may change or be inaccurate.
Users should confirm prices and product details directly with the retailer before making a purchase.
Products may be changed, removed, or made unavailable on retailer websites at any time. If this occurs, those products may become unavailable for tracking through the BuyWatch app.
Supported retailers
BuyWatch only supports selected retailers. We may add, remove, pause, or change supported retailers at any time. These changes may result in items being removed from your Watchlist or becoming unavailable for tracking.
Notifications
Price alerts and notifications are provided as a convenience. We do not guarantee that alerts will be immediate, complete, or always available. Price changes are checked by BuyWatch at system-determined intervals and may not be detected at the exact time a price change occurs.
Subscriptions
BuyWatch may offer paid subscription features. App Store subscriptions are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple’s payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund processes.
Acceptable use
Users must not misuse the app, attempt to interfere with the service, reverse engineer the service, scrape or copy BuyWatch data, or use the app for unlawful purposes.
Account deletion
Users may delete their account at any time via the BuyWatch tab in the app.
Intellectual property
BuyWatch, including its design, branding, code, text, and related content, belongs to BuyWatch or its licensors.
Disclaimer
BuyWatch is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accurate or up-to-date product information, retailer availability, or error-free operation.
Prices, availability, product images, shipping costs, sales, and other product details may change after BuyWatch retrieves them from a retailer. Although BuyWatch performs periodic checks to keep this information up to date, these updates may not be reflected immediately.
Comparison and product discovery features are provided as a guide only and may produce incomplete, inaccurate, or unexpected results. Users should independently determine whether suggested products meet their own requirements before making a purchase.
Third-party retailers, transactions and loss
BuyWatch may display products, prices, links and other information obtained from third-party retailers and websites, including through search and compare features.
The inclusion of a retailer, website or product in BuyWatch does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee by BuyWatch. BuyWatch does not verify the identity, legitimacy, location, reliability, security or business practices of third-party retailers displayed through the service.
Third-party websites and retailers operate independently of BuyWatch. Any purchase, payment, order or other transaction you enter into with a third-party retailer is solely between you and that retailer. BuyWatch is not a party to that transaction.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuyWatch accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, damage or expense arising from or relating to your use of, reliance on, purchase from, payment to, or other transaction with a third-party website or retailer accessed or discovered through BuyWatch. This includes, without limitation, goods that are not supplied or delivered, goods that differ from their description, fraudulent or unauthorised transactions, payment disputes, refunds, returns, warranties, or the insolvency, closure or fraudulent conduct of a third-party retailer.
You are responsible for assessing the legitimacy and suitability of a retailer before making a purchase or providing personal or payment information. Where you are unfamiliar with a retailer, you should take reasonable steps to verify the retailer before completing a transaction.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
Third-party websites and their terms
BuyWatch may provide links to, display information from, or otherwise facilitate access to third-party retailer websites. These websites are owned and operated independently of BuyWatch.
When you access or use a third-party website, your use of that website may be subject to the retailer’s own terms and conditions, terms of use, privacy policy, shipping and returns policies, and any other applicable policies or conditions. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with those terms and policies.
BuyWatch’s Terms of Use apply to your use of BuyWatch and do not replace, modify or override the terms or policies of any third-party retailer.
Any purchase or other transaction you enter into with a third-party retailer is subject to the terms agreed between you and that retailer. BuyWatch is not a party to, and does not assume responsibility for, those terms or the resulting transaction.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, BuyWatch is not liable for loss arising from use of the app, reliance on price information or price alerts, missed price changes, unavailable products, or retailer changes.
Feedback and suggestions
We value feedback provided through the app or by contacting us. We cannot guarantee that feedback or suggestions will receive a reply, be followed up, or result in changes to BuyWatch.
Reporting issues and support requests
When you use “Report issue” or make a support request, you agree that BuyWatch may use artificial intelligence and other automated systems, including services provided by third parties, to process and analyse the information you provide, investigate the matter, categorise and prioritise the submission, assist with improvements to BuyWatch, and prepare or provide a response.
A submission or response may not always be reviewed by a person. We cannot guarantee that all feedback, issue reports, or support requests will receive a reply, be followed up, or result in changes to BuyWatch.
Personal information submitted through these features will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy. You should not include sensitive or unnecessary personal information in a submission.
We may ignore or remove feedback that is abusive, defamatory, misleading, unlawful, or otherwise inappropriate.
